Symposia Pricing

The Turbomachinery Laboratory is a nonprofit entity and registration fees, after covering the costs of producing the symposia, are used to support research and education at Texas A&M University.

There are many registration options available to our attendees. Perhaps you only have time for a Short Course on Monday, or you cannot arrive in Houston until Wednesday. Whatever your requirements, we have an option to serve you.

Payment Options

Enrollment for the Symposia is unlimited, but Short Courses are limited and sold on a first-money-received basis. Registration is not complete until full payment is received. The State of Texas does not permit us to extend credit to individuals or companies.

  • Check, Cashier's Check, Traveler's Check, or Money Order - (in U.S. currency and drawn on a U.S. clearing bank) must be received by Friday, September 2, 2016

Refund Policy

Delegate Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing to register@turbo-lab.tamu.edu by Monday, September 5, 2016. There will be a $100 administrative and banking charge fee to cancel registration. Delegate Registration substitution requests must be sent in writing by Monday, September 5, 2016, to register@turbo-lab.tamu.edu. Registration Substitutions onsite will only be allowed with proper approval authorization from original registrant. All Delegate Registration substitutions will be charged a $100 administrative handling fee.

EAO Badges: Refund requests for paid, but not claimed or reallocated onsite, Exhibit Area Only (EAO) badges must be submitted in writing to exhibit@turbo-lab.tamu.edu by September 23, 2016 to receive a refund; no refunds will be given after this date. Exhibitor Short Courses will not be refunded at any time.

Late cancellations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for personal hardships, acts of God, or national emergencies. After the cancellation date, the Turbomachinery Lab will not refund for business decisions by attendee’s employer, such as job reassignment, plant emergencies, etc. In the event of a “no-show” cancellation, Symposium and Short Course materials will be forwarded to the absent attendee. Registration fees cannot be applied toward future registrations.

The Turbomachinery Lab reserves the right to cancel any Short Course or Symposium in the event of insufficient registration or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of such circumstances, all registration fees will be refunded. The Turbomachinery Lab will not be responsible for any losses incurred by the registrants, including but not limited to airline cancellation charges and hotel deposits.
